The announcement of the death of Pope Francis was given in the Chapel of Casa Santa Marta by the Camerlengo, Cardinal Kevin Farrell. Next to him were the Cardinal Secretary of State Pietro Parolin, the Substitute Msgr. Edgar Pena Parra and the Master of Ceremonies Monsignor Diego Ravelli.
