Twelve days of war, hard, between Israel and Iran as not seen for decades but in the end a truce that was repeatedly requested by Israel before being accepted by Iran after mutual violations.
The toll is 28 dead and over 3,000 wounded for Israel and 610 victims for Iran with 4,700 wounded. Despite this, the Iranian president, as you can read below, emphasizes the “historic and severe punishment given to Israel”.
In the logic of Iran,
a country that has been in the sights of Israel and NATO for decades after the Islamic Revolution of the Ayatollahs that in 1979 brought a Shiite theocracy to power in response to the absolute monarchy of the Shah supported by the West, the very high number of “martyrs” is an acceptable sacrifice in order to have succeeded in demonstrating that they can inflict serious damage on the Zionist nation that aims at complete control of the Middle East.

He made the remarks in a message addressed to the people, commending the “epoch-making” nation for its “courageous steadfastness” that paved the way for victory.

The Israeli regime ended its 12-day-long war of aggression on Iran in the early hours of Tuesday after suffering heavy blows at the hands of Iranian armed forces.
In the 22 phases of Operation True Promise III, Iranian armed forces launched hundreds of ballistic missiles, including multi-warhead projectiles, and drones at strategic Israeli military sites in the occupied territories, including the bases used by the regime to launch its attacks.

‘Israel’s losses unimaginable’
Pezeshkian said the losses that had been suffered by the enemy as a result of the reprisal were “unimaginable,” despite the intense media censorship that the regime had imposed.
According to the Iranian president, it was the Israeli regime’s adventurism and warmongering attitude that triggered the war, and it was the great Iranian nation that spelled an end to it by facing up to the aggressor and forcing it to retreat.
The remarks came a day after American media outlets reported that the regime had asked Iran, through Western mediators, to stop the retaliatory attacks amid monumental damage across the occupied territories resulting from round-the-clock Iranian missile barrages.
The unilateral halt in the regime’s aggression against Iran was announced by US President Donald Trump in the early hours of Tuesday.
A day before the announcement, Iranian armed forces fired a missile barrage at al-Udeid, Washington’s most important military base in the West Asia region, located in Qatar.
It was in response to American aggression against Iranian nuclear sites in brazen and blatant violation of international law.

Simultaneously, the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) announced the launch of the 20th wave of Operation True Promise 3, targeting key sites across the occupied territories with a combination of long-range ballistic missiles utilizing advanced strike tactics.
IRGC spokesperson Major General Naeini announced that the latest phase of the operation employed missiles powered by both liquid and solid propellants, equipped with high-impact warheads and enhanced features specifically designed to bypass enemy air defense systems.
The IRGC confirmed that the targets struck during this wave included Ben Gurion Airport, a biological research facility, and command, control, and logistical support bases at multiple levels.
Naeini described the operation as a continued part of Iran’s strategic military response to the coordinated aggression by the United States and the Israeli occupation.

Air raid sirens were activated as soon as the missiles arrived, forcing settlers to head back to underground bunkers, where they have been spending most of their time these days. Israeli media reported massive explosions in the heart of Tel Aviv, indicating that the missiles yet again managed to evade three-tier air defense systems to hit their intended targets.
One of the videos showed a missile making a direct hit on a building in Tel Aviv, sparking massive blaze, after the early warning system reportedly failed to activate.
Some reports said an explosion was heard in the Krayot area near the occupied port city of Haifa, which came under massive missile and drone attack on Friday as well.
In a statement following the operation, the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) said the latest phase of Operation True Promise III was carried out in the central part of the occupied Palestinian territories and Ben Gurion Airport, targeting military facilities and operational support centers of the Zionist regime’s army.

“Most of the explosions heard were the result of our air defense operations,” the official explained, noting that the enemy attacks failed to inflict any casualties.

In a parallel security success, Iranian authorities have dismantled a significant espionage network.

Former CIA Director and Defense Secretary Leon Panetta has warned that any US military strike on Iran would inevitably drag Washington into a broader regional conflict.
“There’s no question that the United States would be in a regional war at that point,”

20 missiles were launched by Iranian Army in the 17th Wave of Operation True Promise 3
The news outlet has also quoted Iranian military officials as saying that the 17th wave of Operation True Promise 3 was launched on Friday, targeting the Israeli cities of Tel Aviv, Haifa, and Beersheba.
44 people were wounded in Haifa in an Iranian missile strike, which triggered sirens across Israel on Friday afternoon, emergency services said. One of the injured is in serious condition, two in moderate condition, while the rest sustained light injuries.
A 51-year-old woman collapsed in a shelter in Carmiel during rocket sirens and died of cardiac arrest, emergency services said.
At least 20 missiles were launched, triggering sirens across the country. An impact site was identified in Be’er Sheva, as well as two other sites in southern Israel.
According to the Washington-based Human Rights Activists group, Israeli strikes have killed at least 639 Iranians, most of whom are civilians, since the hostilities began last Friday. Israeli officials have reported 24 deaths.

Iran launched successive 15th waves of missile strikes toward the Israeli entity on Thursday afternoon,
as alarm sirens sounded across wide areas of the northern occupied Palestinian territories.

As it became known to SHOT, Iran launched at least three missiles towards Israel this morning. Some of them collapsed right next to the office of Bill Gates’ Microsoft company. IRGC destroys Israeli regime’s key military intelligence center in Tel Aviv
The logistical headquarters of the Israeli Military Intelligence Unit, known as ‘Aman,’ has been destroyed in the latest phase of Iran’s retaliatory operation ‘True Promise III’.
Another facility associated with the Unit 8200 was also targeted in the same operation.In a statement on Tuesday, the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) confirmed the successful strike on the Israeli Military Intelligence Unit 8200 at the Glilot base near Tel Aviv.
“In the early hours of today, Tuesday, 17 June, IRGC aerospace division, in an impact-oriented operation, despite the presence of highly advanced defense systems, struck the Zionist regime’s military intelligence center known as Aman and the center for planning terror operations and evils of the Zionist regime (Mossad) in Tel Aviv, and this center is currently burning,” read the statement.
Images circulating on social media on Tuesday showed the ‘Aman’ logistics center, part of the Israeli military intelligence complex in Glilot near Tel Aviv, up in flames.
Aman is known as one of the oldest intelligence organizations that was established soon after the illegitimate Zionist entity came into existence. Its main mission is to gather and supply intelligence to the Israeli regime and its spy agency, Mossad, for its terror and sabotage attacks across the world, including in Iran.
Aman includes high-tech spying units that enable specialized military attacks like Unit 8200 (Signals Intelligence), Unit 504 (Human Intelligence), and Unit 9900 (Geospatial Intelligence).
Despite the blanket ban on publication of images related to losses suffered by the regime in the ongoing Operation True Promise III, carried out by the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC), many videos were leaked showing the Aman center enveloped in raging flames.
The attack was carried out early on Tuesday, the ninth phase of Operation True Promise III that began on Friday night after the Israeli regime assassinated several top-ranking Iranian military commanders, nuclear scientists and civilians, including women and children.
700 Ballistic Missiles and Drones: Iran Largest Attack on Israel

Iran Destroys Israel’s Largest Oil Refinery: It No Longer Works
The escalation of the conflict between Israel and Iran has reached a new peak: the largest oil refinery of the Bazan Group in Haifa has completely stopped operations after a massive missile attack by Iran. This was reported by the Israeli daily Yedioth Ahronoth, citing an official statement from the company.

The newest Soleimani Iranian Missile which Breached Iron Dome

In recent years, Israeli anti-aircraft protection had almost always spared the main cities of the Jewish state.
In the war between Israel and Iran, however, something has changed, thanks above all to a new-generation ballistic missile that Iran presented just over a month ago: the ‘Soleimani’, named in honor of General Qassem Soleimani, leader of the Quds Forces and killed in January 2020 by a US drone on the orders of Donald Trump himself.
The ballistic missile was initially presented in August 2020. When the ayatollahs revealed it to the public, they also issued a warning: “The Soleimani can also hit American bases in the Middle East.”
An advanced guided ballistic missile, called Haj Qassem, was likely used to strike Haifa in response to Israel’s Operation Rising Lion,
Alexei Borzenko, veteran military journalist, tells Sputnik. “At that moment, Haifa was hit by 40 rockets. But the Iron Dome couldn’t handle it, and many missiles broke through,” the expert says.
“You have to understand that numbers matter a lot when it comes to air defense,” Borzenko continues. “Five missiles — shot down. Ten — shot down. Forty — some get through. But if it’s 100, or 200, or 1,000 missiles, the Iron Dome won’t cope.”
Most rockets launched by Iran during the latest wave are believed to be 20–30 years old. However, Haj Qassem, which was unveiled in 2020, is one of the newest.
It is a medium-range ballistic missile with a two-stage system powered by solid fuel. Iranian officials said at the time that the Qassem Soleimani has a range of about 1,200 kilometers, has increased resistance to guidance and countermeasures, and is equipped with an advanced navigation system that allows it to precisely hit targets and counter electronic warfare.
