From Fatima to Ukraine. The Useless Lesson of Peace by Pope Wojtyla to Christians that want Weapons and War

“In a time of pride and humiliation, in a place where evil was raging, you remained steadfast and faithful. In the abyss of cruelty and hatred, where it was decided to biologically destroy man, to trample on his dignity, you were courageously and heroically the only witnesses of love, of forgiveness, as heralds of a new civilization based on the truth, goodness, respect for life and justice “.
In 1995, as the Balkan War raged in the heart of Europe triggered by the American counter-espionage of the Central Intelligence Agency just like the one in Ukraine, John Paul II used these words to remember the only possible heroism for a Christian: the heroism of Love for Enemies.
This sermon takes on a particular significance today which is the anniversary of the first apparition of Our Lady at Fatima, inextricably linked to the imprimatur “Totus Tuus” that Karol Wojtyla imposed on his pontificate in devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary who miraculously protected him during the attack in San Pietro on May 13, 1981 suffered by the Turkish hitman Mehmet Ali Ağca, when he shot him 2 shots.
It is strange that the professional killer forgiven by the Pontiff, and then curiously pardoned by a life sentence by the President of the Republic Carlo Azeglio Ciampi, in recent days has released an interview supporting two colossal lies: denying the presence of an accomplice author of a third unsuccessful shot and denying having acted on commission in a mysterious triangle between the terrorists of the Gray Wolves of which the killer was part, the Russian 007s of the KGB and even the shadow of the Italian mafia, a historical ally of British Freemasonry and the CIA.
“One hand fired, another hand deflected the bullet.” According to a celestial design, the Pontiff himself consecrated the bullet to his protector, which is set right in the crown of Our Lady of Fatima.
In the Roman prison of Rebibbia, the attacker received, on December 27, 1983, a visit from Pope Wojtyla himself, who went to see him to talk to him, listen to him and forgive him.
Of that dramatic day the Holy Father’s shirt remains, white, bloody. A mesh in which the bullet holes are clearly visible. A relic that was collected by a nurse who was in the operating room, Anna Stanghellini, preserved today in the Roman district of Boccea, in the shrine of the chapel of the Reginae Mundi church of the Daughters of Charity. The woman, after having kept it in her home, decided to donate it to the nuns in 2000, precisely in the year of the Great Jubilee.
THE CONSECRATION OF RUSSIA TO OUR LADY
But in obedience to the invitation of the Portuguese seer Sister Lucy, the Polish Pope also made another gesture of great devotion to Fatima. He consecrated Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary, thus starting the unthinkable rebirth of Christianity in one of the nations where the evil Masonic plans culminating in the Bolshevik Revolution (with the massacre of the Romanov Tsar dynasty together with their innocent servants) had proliferated state atheism.
Saint Paul VI, on November 21, 1964, renewed the consecration in the presence of the fathers of the Second Vatican Council. St. John Paul II composed a prayer for what he called an “Act of entrustment” to be celebrated in the Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore on 7 June 1981, the Solemnity of Pentecost and subsequently made the act of entrustment on 7 June 1981, repeated in Fatima on 13 May 1982. But all these rites were not considered suitable by Sister Lucia.
On 25 March 1984, the feast of the Annunciation, Pope Wojtyla entrusted all peoples, obviously including Russia, to the Immaculate Heart of Mary in St. Peter’s Square.
He did it in spiritual union with all the bishops of the world. Over the decades doubts have germinated on the fact that the Consecration of Russia was done in the manner requested by Our Lady. However, in June 2000, when the third secret of Fatima was revealed, a letter from 1989 was published in which Sister Lucia affirmed that the last consecration carried out by John Paul II corresponded to what the Virgin Mary wanted.
Moscow, today more than ever a champion of Christian values and the Orthodox Church, in Ukraine is bringing to light the hypocrisy of peace of a West that has instead, knowingly, denied its Christian roots (as ruled by the European Union).
Now I don’t want to pause to sift through those mysteries of every war that only Divine Omniscience can judge and understand.
Pope Francis tried to get out of the darkness of evil by retracing a new Consecration to Our Lady of Fatima: as if it were the booster of Covid vaccines ineffective at the first administration! As if the former were ineffective.
But he did not give enough weight to the fact that it is the de-Christianized West that denies the Immaculate Heart of Mary every day and to reject any dialogue of peace proposed daily by the Kremlin with detailed requests.
Every military detente of Russian President Vladimir Putin, from food aid to humanitarian corridors in besieged cities, is in fact interpreted by the West as a signal of war weakness and not a real desire for truce to a war that did not start on February 24, 2022 but on February 20, 2014, as explained several times and how we will explain later.
FORGIVENESS AND LOVE BEFORE THE DACHAU MARTYRDOM
In devotion to Our Lady of Fatima, celebrated on May,13, I want to linger on the sacred mysteries of peace and love.
The Holy Father, tireless messenger throughout the world, was the one who knew how to respond with poetry and forgiveness to even the most brutal manifestations of systematic hatred of the contemporary era: the Nazi totatilitarism of Adolf Hitler and the Communist one of Joseph Stalin.
The sentence quoted at the beginning of this article was in fact pronounced by the Pontiff in 1995 on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the Dachau concentration camp, in Germany, one of the places of deportation of young Poles by the Third Reich to which the he then a young aspiring Polish philologist and playwright escaped thanks to his work in a stone quarry before entering, in 1942, the clandestine seminary directed by the Archbishop of Krakow Sapieha.
In the detention and extermination camp near Munich, a total of 2801 clergymen were imprisoned, of whom 1773 were from Poland: 1034 died, of which 868 were Poles. For this reason, on 29 April, on the day of the liberation of Dachau by the United States army (29 April 1945), on the initiative of the Polish Bishops’ Conference, the Day of Martyrdom of the Polish clergy during the Second World War is celebrated.
Riccardo Cascioli remembers this on FiloDiritto (link at the bottom of the page) recalling the interview with Monsignor Kazimierz Majdański, archbishop of Szczecin-Kamień, one of the few survivors together with Cardinal Adam Kozłowiecki, archbishop of Lusaka, Father Marian Żelazek, missionary, apostle of lepers in India, and Monsignor Ignacy Jeż (Benedict XVI wanted to honor him with the dignity of cardinal, but Jeż died on the eve of the announcement of his appointment in November 2007).
“We thought – the monsignor said – that the times of Nero and Diocletian were back, the times of hatred towards Christianity and all that Christianity represented. The concentration camp was the embodiment of the civilization of death: it was no coincidence that skulls were found on the uniforms of the Germans! Our German executioners blasphemed God, denigrated the Church and called us the ‘dogs of Rome’. They wanted to force us to outrage the cross and the rosary. After all, for them we were only numbers to be eliminated».
The same skulls today stand out on the uniforms of the neo-Nazi paramilitaries in Ukraine.
JOHN PAUL II TO YOUNG PEOPLE “GIVE YOUR LIFE FOR PEACE”
Both during the roundups of the SS in Poland and in the commemoration of the holocaust of Dachau, John Paul II invited people to respond with Christian piety, daughter of that Divine Mercy which he later elevated to a solemn feast with the canonization of Saint Faustina Kovalska.
Let’s reread his words: “In the abyss of cruelty and hatred, where it was decided to biologically destroy man, to trample on his dignity, you were courageously and heroically the only witnesses of love, of forgiveness, as heralds of a new civilization based on truth, goodness, respect for life and justice ”.
During the Jubilee of 2000, on the occasion of the XV World Youth Day, millions of young people went to Rome attracted by the evangelical witness of the Holy Father and he, on August 19, during the moving and intense prayer vigil that took place at ‘University of Tor Vergata among young people of all nationalities, reaffirmed the same concepts.
«Dear friends, I see in you the” watchmen of the morning “(cf. Isaiah 21: 11-12) at this dawn of the third millennium. Today you have gathered here to affirm that in the new century you will not lend yourselves to being instruments of violence and destruction; you will defend peace, even paying in person if necessary. You will not resign yourself to a world in which other human beings are dying of hunger, remain illiterate, lack work. You will defend life in every moment of its earthly development, you will strive with all your energy to make this earth more and more habitable for everyone».
What is left of this deeply pacifist legacy in the people of those grown-up Christians? If we look at the drama of the war in Ukraine, we are tempted to say little, if any.
Because also admitted an evil will of President Putin, denied by the very limited use of missiles of mass destruction that would have exterminated thousands and thousands of civilians but would have delivered the victory in a few days, saving many victims among his own soldiers, the Christians of the Ukraine and those of the West should have responded as the university student Karol Wojtyla did in the face of German reprisals … With the forgiveness of the enemies!
This teaches the Heroic Gospel of Jesus Christ. It is a very difficult doctrine of the heart to live, even towards our friends and brothers when they offend us or hurt us by betrayal. And it is even more difficult to testify with consistency and constancy in one’s life.
But at least it must be supported, defended and disseminated – without any hesitation, deviance or exception – by the Church, by consecrated persons and by Christians who recognize themselves in it as the People of God and therefore in their “agape” they are no longer simple faithful but become a Body Mystic of Christ on earth (Encyclical of Pius XII Mystici Corporis Christi).
CHRISTIAN VALUES DENIED BY THE WAR IN UKRAINE
I was impressed by the interview with the parish priest of Lviv who, denying the values of his Franciscan habit, invited the parishioners to arm themselves against the Russian invaders as if the reasons were only on the side of Ukraine.
But where was that priest while 500 children were killed or paralyzed during the repeated bombing with which the Kiev army systematically violated the truce of the Minsk treaties for 8 years by spreading massacres in the pro-Russian republics of Donbass?
Today I pause to note how the West has completely denied its ancestral devotion to Christian values to flatter a peace that without love and without God’s help is an empty and indefensible concept.
“You will defend peace, even paying in person if necessary” John Paul II said to young people during the Jubilee of 2000, referring to the most ancient examples of the Christian martyrdom that he first endured both during the attack in Saint Peter’s on May 13, 1981 and during the his slow and excruciating agony of old age, without renouncing, until the very end in Lourdes, the pilgrimages around the world to spread his message of peace.
THE TEACHINGS OF JESUS AND THE MARTYRED APOSTLES
Let’s reread the Gospel of Matthew (chapter 26, 47-54)
«While he was still speaking, Judas arrived, one of the twelve, and with him a great crowd with swords and clubs, from the chief priests and the elders of the people. The one who betrayed him had given them a signal, saying: “The one I will kiss is him; take it ». And in that instant, approaching Jesus, he said to him: “I greet you, Rabbi!” and he kissed him. But Jesus said to him, “Friend, what have you come to do?” Then, approaching, they put their hands on him and took him. And behold, one of those who were with him stretched out his hand, took his sword, drew it, and, striking the high priest’s servant, cut off his ear. Then Jesus said to him, ‘Put your sword back in his place, for all who take the sword will perish by the sword. Do you think that I could not pray to my Father who would send me more than twelve legions of angels at this moment? How then would the Scriptures be fulfilled, according to which it must be so?
If St. Peter had armed himself against the Sanhedrin Guards to free Jesus the Messiah, he could have suffered the Crucifixion for the atonement of the sins of all humanity and be resurrected to be a living witness of the power of God the Almighty Father and of the Holy Spirit who is of it. efficient cause in the Holy Trinity?
We also evaluate the issue from a strictly human point of view. If St. Peter had led St. John and the other apostles against the persecution of the Pharisees, could the head of the guard Saul have been able to convert and become St. Paul?
If St. Peter, St. Paul and the other Christian martyrs had not accepted the sacrifice of their human lives for the love of Jesus Christ, if they had not shed their blood without resisting their message of love could have germinated in the hearts of millions. and billions of human beings converting their hearts to the one true God of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, King David and Mary of Nazareth?
If Karol Wojtyla had listened to the call for armed resistance of his young Polish friends in Krakow, could he have ever become the greatest peace missionary in the contemporary history of the Catholic Church?
The Christians who claim the right of Ukraine to defend itself and to supply itself with weapons did not want to ask themselves these questions.
But they also didn’t want to ask themselves the deeper question about the roots of the evil in Kiev.
THE ROOTS OF THE EVIL OF THE NEW WORLD ORDER
They did not even want to consider the reasons for a war that began on February 20, 2014 in Maidan Square when mercenary snipers enlisted by military intelligence fired on pro-European demonstrators as well as on policemen to stage the latest act of the coup.
Anyone who knows modern history knows that that action, already experienced by the CIA in 2002 in Caracas and even before in small episodes in the Balkans, was orchestrated by the same evil minds of the New World Order, powerful of Zionist and Freemason mostly financiers, which in the 1870 attacked the Papal State legitimizing the invasion of Rome to reconquer it as the pagan capital of anti-Catholic Freemasonry.
The subsequent encyclical Humanus Genus promulgated by Pope Leo XIII with the excommunication of Freemasonry is a milestone carved in the history of Christianity to settle good from evil and sanction the irreconcilable dialogue between the Church and the Masons, when they approach it not with contrite and resipiscent heart but with diabolical cunning of reason in order to corrupt its values.
It is no coincidence that Ukraine has become one of the West’s favorite places for the practice of rented uterus aimed at allowing two gay males to be able to adopt a child in disregard of the laws of Italy and other European countries.
It is no coincidence that Zelensky’s homeland became the cradle of the Nazis of the Azov Battalion, heirs of the collaborators who helped the SS exterminate 1 million and 600 thousand Russian Jews in Poland during the Second World War. It is no coincidence that the latter receive weapons from Israeli industries created by the Zionist Political Movement which very few values share with the exemplary mercy of the Israelite patriarchs such as Abraham and King David.
“No more war, no return adventure, no more war, spiral of grief and violence”. John Paul II wrote in a prayer of February 2, 1991 in which he asked for an end to the conflict in the Persian Gulf wanted by NATO.
Today, Ukrainian President Zelensky, artfully built by the heirs of the same powers of the time, continues to deny any peace negotiations to Russia. Before the silent eyes of the mainstream, he even had a member of the Ukrainian delegation killed in the street, without trial, because he was considered a traitor.
From Washington to Brussels and Rome, peace is invoked without forgiveness, without Christ and without God. A peace invoked with the continuous hymn to the impossible victory of Ukraine against Russia. A peace that does not take in the slightest consideration the reasons of the adversary, provoked for years as denounced even by Pope Francis in relation to “the barking of NATO at the gates of Moscow”, but demands its total and unacceptable humiliation.
This Russophobic sentiment has unfortunately pervaded the belly of many Christians so much as to blind their hearts: from the Franciscan of Lviv to the director of Radio Maria who every day gets drunk with the lies of the media about the mainstream in which Putin is portrayed as the conqueror of the West and not like the bear awakened from hibernation by NATO’s threatening sirens that aims only to defend two Russian-speaking territories such as Donbass and Crimea.
Among the powerful of today there are few politicians who witnessed the Gulf and Balkan Wars: there is perhaps only Sergio Mattarella, deputy of the Italian Republic in 1991 and Minister of Defense in 1999 when NATO began to massacre civilians in Serbia, protecting the massacres of CIA-armed jihadists.
Today he is Head of State, therefore also head of all the Armed Forces and, while flaunting his Catholic values, he was the one who took on the role of ambassador of the New World Order to announce the imminent war in Ukraine on February 3, 2022, on the day of his election, on the anniversary of the transfer of the capital of the Kingdom of Italy from Florence to Rome, in the territories torn by the Masonic army of the Savoy from the Papal State.
This is why, in this scenario of diabolical intrigues built by the germs of hatred and speculation on conflicts, the only answers of a Christian can be those of peace and forgiveness taught by John Paul II with his Consecration to the Immaculate Heart desired by Our Lady of Fatima.
Even at the cost of paying with one’s life as the first martyrs did.
Because this total abandonment to the law of love of Jesus Christ is the only shield that can allow a true Christian to undertake with God’s protection the spiritual path that is leading humanity towards an imminent Apocalypse.
