Harvard Nanoscientist Linked to Wuhan Convicted of Numerous Crimes Related to Chinese Influence on US Research

Harvard University Professor Charles Lieber was finally convicted of taking money from the Communist Party of China (CCP) and channeling nanotechnology secrets for Wuhan biological weapons research.
According to reports, Lieber lied about his ties to a China-run recruiting program. He also made misrepresentations to authorities, filed false tax returns, and did not report a Chinese bank account he had.
Lieber is also a nanotechnology expert involved in the development of neurological interfaces and payload carbon nanotubes. Its technological expertise is speculated to have been used to design so-called “vaccines” for the Wuhan coronavirus (Covid-19), as well as the 5G technology that links them.
In 2011, Lieber agreed to become a “strategic scientist” at the Wuhan University of Technology (WUT). Through this link, Lieber participated in a Chinese recruitment campaign called the Thousand Talent Program.

Lieber received direct cash payments from Wuhan
Defense attorney Marc Mukasey says prosecutors “distorted” the evidence against Lieber and had no key documents to back up their claims. It is also assumed that they relied too heavily on a “confusing” FBI interview with Lieber following his arrest.
During the six-day trial and nearly three hours of jury deliberations, Lieber, who currently has cancer, reportedly sat emotionless, even when the verdict was announced. “We respect the verdict and will continue to fight,” added Mukasey.
In January 2020, Lieber was indicted as part of a Department of Justice (DoJ) “China Initiative,” which was launched during the Trump administration to thwart suspected Chinese economic espionage and research theft. The Biden regime has since carried forward the Chinese Initiative, although the DoJ is now saying it is reviewing its approach to the program.
According to prosecutors, Lieber lied about his role in the Thousand Talents program to both the Department of Defense (DoD) and the National Institutes of Health (NIH), which awarded him $ 15 million in research grants.
During an interview with FBI agents shortly after his arrest, Lieber claimed he was “younger and dumber” by the time he joined Wuhan University. He says he thought the collaborations would help strengthen his recognition in the scientific world.
As part of the setup, Lieber received $ 50,000 a month from WUT, along with $ 158,000 in living expenses. It was paid in cash and the deposits were made to a Chinese bank account which he did not report.
Lieber told the FBI that he was paid between $ 50,000 and $ 100,000 in cash and that his Chinese bank account once contained $ 200,000. However, in his 2013 and 2014 tax returns, Lieber never reported any of this. For two full years, he failed to report the bank account.
